I have heard many straight women express the idea that they would prefer a gay son, that they would not know how to relate to a straight son, and they would try their best to make him turn out gay or trans. They say they would be so elated to have a coming out party for their son, but would hate it if he wanted to just play football and stuff.
Perhaps this is a lie and deep down they don't believe this, but I have no tangible reason to believe this.
