That's a little dramatic and inaccurate - Rich people rarely OD, there are too many people with a vested interest looking out for them. And if I had to choose to between 5 million dollars, drugs, and dozens of dimepiece groupies or 40 million dollars while having to be married to Sharon Osborne, I would choose the 5 million every time.

Obviously you don't know about Slash. He already overdosed and died & was revived. He chose the drugs.

This is a bullshit hustle. If you think these girls can do a better job than guys like Ubermensch music manager Shep Gordon, you're out of your mind. And these superagents charge a lot less than 50%. These women insert themselves into running the daily lives of these guys so they can control them better. They make a few basic business moves to keep the mealticket earning (it's their money after all) and then try to take credit for a genius artists income. This is the hustle they're selling.

If you think Shep Gordon would have signed Slash you're out of your mind. Shep might have signed Axl as he signed prominent and huge frontmen, but a guitarist who doesn't even sing...crazy.

One think you have to realize about ubermanagers is they don't sign anyone with talent. They sign people who have their shit together, because they invest a lot of time and money in it and don't want the loss and embarrasment from someone who's flakey and arrogant and has a drug problem.

The bottom line is that perla and slash have already broken up 100s of times before and this is just another breakup where they'll be back together. They're each lost without the other.
