To me, punching a woman is like punching a child (and a woman remains a child for her whole life).
A Man puts himself in her level by acting like her.
I would have personnaly arm-blocked her to the ground or strangle her from behind, to teach her a lesson without durable physical harm.
But no punch to the face, that's weakness to me.
