I don't think his actions are wrong and the woman is certainly entitled, but it's a bit strange overall. If I liked a woman enough to live together with her, her contribution to living expenses would be the last thing on my mind, unless I was financially unable to do it and thus needed her to contribute. Must be the flip side to the fact that it's hard for a woman to move in with me
