This kind of thing tends to happen with the less attractive girls. The hottest girls I've gone on dates with are way more compliant.
I mean once a girl flakes, it's much less likely that they will end up meeting you at another date. So why not be a little more aggressive? You really have nothing to lose and will probably save yourself from wasting time with future dates from a flaky girl who isn't down to bang.
