I am much more concerned about information collection by Google than about the NSA because Google is interested in everyone (for ad targeting) and they are better than anyone else at storing, searching and exploiting every last shred of information about you and me.
I think it's laughable that people worry about the NSA who couldn't care less about them, but at the same time they'll have a Google account, use gmail, and stay logged in to Google while doing their searches on "interracial granny fisting" or whatever it is normal people do. You realize that Google is saving all that info and associating it with you, right?
If you want to worry about privacy, worry about that. Forget the NSA.

They have fucking built massive data storehouses all over the Globe, including one north of Salt Lake City, UT, in the middle of the desert. The NSA captures and stores every single data transmission on the internet, 24-7, 365, including this fucking forum.
And no, it's not ever getting "deleted."
