I think the attitude is something she overdoes for the sake of the show.

Her boyfriend was there playing bodyguard and hovering over her like a hawk.

"pleasant and pretty enough" should be the title of a women's "how to land a man" book.

Thats pretty much all it is, a woman doesn't have to be a model as long as she's pleasant and pretty enough to pass a boner test she will have options.
