America is one of the modernized countries. I am wondering if it has anything to do with it.
How about women in more modernized countries? like sweden, norway, denmark etc
My country is still conservative about women's looks. you can't even get a job as a waitress if you are fat. Even as an office worker, you will lose a lot of points at job interview because being fat is considered as lazy. (it's just simple. there are many skinny applicants. would you hire a fat person if you were the owner?)
You have to be attractive to work as a flight attendants too (kind of like 70's in U.S)
Fat girls will be just ignored or treated as a guy friend in a social circle.
I can't imagine fat girls walking around with an attitude in a places like a club.
we don't say stupid shits like 'it's about personality' when you say you can't date her because she is fat. In fact, people will tell you you are worth more than her and ask why you are with her.
