Not sure about this. Ari is quite Alpha in business, but not really in relation to his wife. Even Wikipedia agrees:
She appears to be the one to have upper hand in their marraige. Not alpha at all. Also, if I remember correctly, they had some serious problems and split up for some time as well. It seems like in the beginning she was coming from money, not him, and her family money probably helped him build the empire. Overall, not a bad deal for Ari, but far from "perfect" relationship. I guess a more or less realistic portrayal of "good" modern American marriage.
But compare this to Don Draper and his second wife who is 20 years younger, super hot, intelligent, talented and worships the ground he walks on. She very rarely disrespects him, and if she does it will be most likely handled in a very alpha way (e.g. he throws her on the bed and bangs the shit out of her.) Compared to Don, Ari is a quivering beta.
