I'd think they'd be outsourced to PR firms. This is probably one of the date experiences of one of the PR lackeys. This is pretty high quality copy (well-punctuated, well-organized, engrossing) for the blogger-age and I have a hard time believing it's written by a porn star who never graduated high school.
It's too good to be true. Everyone of her fans reading it is going to be telling himself, "I'm your real man, baby - I am the confident gentleman your date was not!" and hence it builds that asymmetric rapport that's essential to a profitable producer-consumer relationship.
