A lot of new guys don't get the difference between being a mean asshole and being a caring/nice asshole.
Mean Asshole: the use of insults and put downs to gain power over someone in an interaction.
Caring/Nice Asshole: standing your ground, being ambiguous in what you think of a woman, maintaining power by your actions whether it be through teasing, dread, etc. Ie. not being a supplicating 'beta'
No one is going to get their dick wet by calling someone a stupid bitch, but they'll get BJs for days doing the adult equivalent of pulling her hair.
