1. Marriage is something people do for kids. If there's already kids, there's no need for marriage.
2. Marriage is something women facing the wall and potential infertility do. If God-forbid she doesn't use the 18 year Federal Law contract, she might as well get him into a State Law contract.
3. Marriage is something "smarter" women do (less daddy-issues? IDK?) because they know, while the government will provide $, it's no substitute for a man.
4. Marriage is something men without enough options do. We all know women who all of a sudden "matured" in their late 20's and stopped partying as much. Guess who they settle down with. Not the dude getting all the chics. They settle with Mr Nice Guy who's banged 1-2 chics in his life, both of whom left him. The boys banging the high school hotties go on to continue to bang younger bitches and instinctively know they don't want to invest in a depreciating asset.

Women without college degrees see a dearth of husband options around them. Incarceration rates are higher among the poor, and even low-income men tend to view marriage as something they should only do after they get a good job.
