I hope you saw the irony in my post and that this is not a serious rebuttal.

Actually the Polish climber Wanda Rutkiewicz seemed like a pretty serious climber and was pretty cute, but died on the mountain at about 50 years old trying to get her 9th 8000 meter peak.

She met a guy who got her into mountain climbing when her motorcycle broke down, so she was already a thrill-seeker.
