The race already started before you were born. If you aren't in the .01% today, you almost certainly never will be. The tickets to that show ran out back in the 1980's.
Making it to the top 10% is very doable, though. No, you won't be able to change anything, but you'll be in a position to personally be exempt from most of the negative stuff.
