It makes a huge difference. Being in shape, standing with good posture (read roissy's post) is my favorite form of peacocking -- girls definitely notice.
That said, it makes a huge difference for me because fitness is important to me. Knowing I'm in the top percentile (for my area) gives me confidence. Is it the confidence or the body that the girls notice.. doesn't matter. btw, I'm referring to a footballer/soccer build.
