I agree. It is only one aspect of alpha. One aspect is not enough. We must be well rounded and balanced.
That said, I consider hand to hand combat to be one of the most primal and natural aspects of the alpha persona. It sort of serves as a foundation. When it is strengthened, it causes other aspects to be strengthened as well.
Fighting improves other aspects like -- confidence, awareness, body language, eye ball language, health, vitality, self worth, etc, etc.
