I think the suit MJ is wearing in the pic is more about the style at that particular time. The more form-fitting suit has come back in the last few years, but you don't see a lot of corporate types going that route. Most jocks probably still favor a cut with more room in it, with only the guys that are really into fashion going with the more tailored cut.
