Dublin? Ire land.

Dublin is kind of rough. I thought the people were generally nice but as far as talent goes only the occasional middle eastern girls on the street and handful in Copper Faced Jack's, but they were girls from Texas my friend knew while studying there. This was back in '09 though I don't know if things have changed a lot since then.

Have you tried going to Galway on the west coast? Smaller town, has sort of a "seaside village" feel to it and I saw lots of younger people there. Slower paced and just more chilled out. Less angry drunks (Although I did see a tracksuit-wearing youth deliver an impressive highkick in a street brawl).
