Well Moscow skewed that number up higher, the other places it's pretty cheap to live in. We also bought groceries and ate at our apartment a lot, I'd say over 75% of the time. And when out if possible we would order Vodka which is cheaper than the other alcohol types. And we would drink a lot at home. Finally, cigarettes are dirt cheap - I'm talking $1-2 a pack.

I sense the sarcasm, but we did have girls burn us and leave with their men in Tomsk. That said, both my buddy and I were told we were a "beautiful man" multiple times in various cities. And we do not get told that in the US often, if at all.
