PS. Please dont suggest Miami. I've hung out in South Beach recently (within the last 2 years) and hated it. Too many people, too pretentious, too many 30 thousand dollar millionaires and probably a bunch of real ones as well. I don't club and don't make it rain. I've been a beach and/or bar/pub person my whole life.
Clearwater. Almost everyone I met there when I was out and about was 35-45, (though that is a Tampa thing in general since so many retirees move here).
I figure Tampa would be a great spot to set up camp once I start looking 40ish.
Btw, South Beach isn't all of Miami. It is a big place with lots of niches. Not everyone there is a yuppie.
