This is a good point. I watched the Mayweather-De La Hoya fight a few days ago and at one point in the fight, it looked like Mayweather was letting De La Hoya land quite a few body shots in a short period of time. In actuality, he was picking a lot of them off with his elbows and not really getting hurt by them.
Exactly.
He blocks those body shots.
He dominated De La more way more than most people realized.
Just like Pernell Whitaker did.
I was pissed about the Whitaker fight.
I had money on Pernell. I knew he was going to win.
I didn't account for a robbery to take place.
