now, i can't speak to how the rest of these bitches in america are responding, but to say that lena dunham is trying to glamorize or make any positive spin out of the characters is un true.

Here's what I've noticed.

There are a lot of girls who watch this show religiously. In the same way that the older generation watched Sex and The City.

At the same time, I've spoken to a lot of girls who say they hate the show.

All that aside, I believe that putting Lena up there as a protagonist is not so implicitly telling women across the nation that they can be ugly and fat and still be famous with their own show on HBO.

This is very dangerous (and I'm not over-using the word dangerous here). The more people except fatness as a viable option, the more health problems our country has.

Not to mention the fact that it makes our lives as players more difficult because now we are going to have even more fatties to wade through.
