That's interesting. I also have a religious background but come from a religion that entrusts men with control of the family and still has a lot of respect for the patriarch. It's the only thing I tell my family that I still agree with in their religion.

Actually no. Theological heresies that involve justifications for feminine imperative would be tolerated from a guy as well.

Christianity is patriarchal in theory, but only rarely it is such in real life.
