Was she not very hot, or formerly fat? I've have this kinda thing happen a few times with 5s and 6s. I think they are too insecure in their abilities to attract men and "need" this sort of in-arguable display of chivalry/commitment from you to move the relationship forward. This blowout situation has only happened with a few girls though, so I could be wrong.
