Fatties have every reason to lose to weight---economic incentives, increased sexual power, health/longevity benefits. Losing weight for these women means gaining power and status but they're too lazy to do what it takes and prefer to just whine about it all on TV.
A fatty who doesn't lose weight and complains about the consequences is like a guy who is smart but doesn't apply himself and is pissed that he doesn't have a high-paying job.
