Maybe boring isn't the right word, but I didn't believe for a minute Sonnen could finish Anderson with punches from the top after the first fight. That and at that point Sonnen had already been on top of Anderson for four minutes and Anderson was keeping him from doing any real damage.
At that point I envisioned the fight basically being 25 minutes of ground and pound that didn't really do any damage but got Sonnen a UD.
Yeah, it was lockdown half guard. He didn't have his "hook" leg extended far enough to fuck w/ Chael's base, so it was a somewhat loose lockdown half, which led to an eventual pass to mount. Still, easier to type about it than prevent Sonnen from raping you in person. That knee in the 2nd was brutal. Awesome fight.
