I use Chrome along with the HTTPS Everywhere extension and it doesn't work for me on RVF or RoK.
What happens if you visit it manually without the plugin?
If I do it manually with or without the plug-in, it displays a page but the layout and theme is totally off. Same thing with Firefox.
But the site should just look normal whether you're using HTTPS or not.
