Like I said, Brit leftists are sore losers. There's something deeply personal about it compared to any other Western country.
Britain is a deeply class divided society, more so than Germany or the US. There is a feeling amongst many people that the Tories hate or at least look down on the working class.
UKIP have done very well by being a right wing party free of this cultural baggage.
