For real, man. Protesting the outcome of a democratic election because the people made the wrong choice? What are they protesting for? A new electorate?

They appear to fundamentally misunderstand how representative democracy works as their main argument seems to be that since only 35%ish of the vote went to the winners, that it's somehow unfair that the tories got a majority. I bet these guys were out protesting in droves when Tony Blair got 35% of the vote and won 355 seats.
Right guys? Right?

The left wing has had such huge successes in the last 15 years or so that much of the population is absolutely convinced that wanting to shrink the welfare state is 'mean' and 'nasty' and elitist.
