It's like she does everything possible to not be feminine. Hair chop. Baggy, grungy clothes. She got a bunch of money for attention whoring so poverty is not her excuse. Bad glasses, no makeup, no style, not fit. She can afford lasik, etc etc. My only thought is that American feminist culture has poisoned her. She feels accepted being ugly.

OP, I don't think this qualifies as hitting the wall. She got a shitty haircut and probably gained a bit of weight but the damage is not irreversible; a few months waiting for her hair to regrow and going to the gym a few times a week would make her an eight (or a seven-and-a-half as a few years have passed).

Even if she was guilty or somehow complicit in the girl's death ( I have no idea what the truth is) the stress of being in a foreign jail, not knowing if you will get out for decades, must have been pretty huge.

The kind of stuff has repercussions for years, depression, it's understandable she hasn't been very disciplined.

I have to disagree. Not because I think you are incorrect--indeed, she could probably redeem herself with a decent hair style and someone to give her fashion tips--but because she probably will not avail herself of the opportunity to return to attractiveness. This chick looked incredible rotting away in an Italian jail, and looks like death warmed over while free in the USA. Go figure.

If I thought she really had an iota to do with that girl's death, I'd be agreeing with you. But seriously, there's no realistic evidence that Knox had anything to do with Kercher's death. They already have the guy who did it. And the prosecution's bizarre theories of sex-related obsession just don't hold any water. Knox may have been insensitive and selfish, but I truly can't imagine she had anything to do with her roommate's murder.

All that nose candy she snorted into her sinuses for those few years she was partying hard before her stint in the big house probably did a lot of damage to the cartilage of her face. You can see it in the photo above underneath all that pancake makeup.

FWIW, from what I've read of the evidence and some things that she and her boyfriend said immediately after the crime, I think it is likely that she was present when Kercher was murdered. Remember, she tried to frame some innocent dude for the crime and he spent some time in jail because of her lie. From what I understand, her family still hasn't paid that guy the libel judgment he won against her.
