I found this really interesting. Most of the jobs with the largest wage gap are jobs were salary mostly comes from commission. That means that the wage gap is due entirely to performance rather than any gender bias by managers. On the other hand the blue collar jobs that would be rife for gender discrimination show almost not gender gap at all.

How much is also due to women being worse at pay negotiation?
How much is due to women being less reliable as workers? Men don't take maternity leave.

Not just the fact that it's commission, but most of those occupations listed are sales. Sales is made for guys because it requires you to approach and to deal with rejection. You have to hunt everything you eat and in most cases, you have to work for quite some time before you are good at it. Sales takes a lot of persistence and the payoff usually takes a few years.

These are things women, by and large, really struggle with. As someone who works in sales, the types of women that succeed are very direct and take care of their body. I've never seen a top saleswoman that was a fattie, as they know their body is the only clear advantage they have over men.

Nor do men quit a job/career to raise children.

Would have been nice if I had this table to present to my feminist sociology professor a couple years ago.

I always wonder if these studies are normalized for seniority.

Also, lumping all physicians and surgeons into a single metric is ridiculous.

Men more commonly go into the higher paying specialties in medicine, not surprisingly. What we need to see is if there is a wage gap broken down by each specialty and look specifically at the salaries offered out of residency. And I can tell you there isn't a gap there.

There is no pay gap in favor of men. With the systematic discrimination against men, it's a wonder that men aren't paid even less.

Find two equally qualified people in the same job, one male and one female, and you will find a pay gap favoring the female.

Women dominate the entry level hiring. Betas, who comprise most of corporate America, think that by hiring a girl they have a shot at fucking her. At the higher levels, very little things matter for getting the top jobs since everyone is qualified and they are just looking for reasons to not take you. I've seen it too often that if you have an equally qualified guy and girl, they nearly always take the girl.

It's absolutely hilarious how feminist "studies" and "data" meant to show discrimination end up completely disproving it.

So the wage gap is caused by their apparent ineptness?

That means there is not really a wage gap after all.
