a) A mattress/bed frame which squeaks/makes noises when you bang
b) Knowing someone in the next apartment might be listening (in particular when you know the person)
its an affirmative for me for both the above. wondering if I'm being overly sensitive (dare I say beta) or if others share these feelings

My bed has a very weak head board, and when I bang on there, it hits the wall which is shared with my neighbor.
