I'm sure you've heard of Card Against Humanity...they're everywhere. And while they can be fun to play as an impromptu event, there's that group of diehard fans who check their website everyday for card pack updates and just think Cards Against Humanity is the cleverest & most ironic thing since the 3 Wolf Moon T-shirt. Everyone I know who thinks this is a bona fide 100% hipster.

For Black Friday, Cards Against Humanity offered a box of bullshit for $6. 30,000 fucking hipsters thought this was the most ironic & clever thing since, well, the 3 wolf moon tshirt. Little did they know it was real bull shit.



You'd think this would backfire. If I bought it I'd be livid (but then again I didn't buy it so what do I know about how hipsters think?). But no, these boxes are selling for $40-50 on ebay now. WTF?

I do own a set of Cards against Humanity that I played once. Personally I'm pretty pissed that CAH would do this and mislead customers...customers were thinking they were getting an expansion pack for CAH, not real shit. However, because the people who bought them were entitled hipsters, I don't really feel much sympathy for them.

Everyday something new comes along that trumps how stupid I think people can really be. This is one of them.

I know a a few SWPL/hipster-types who really enjoy this game, and I think it's because it provides a socially acceptable outlet to guffaw at non-PC things they'd normally feel compelled to condemn (i.e., gay/racial/retard jokes, etc...)
