This delusional, obese slob is shit disturbing and getting a petition going saying employers discriminate if you have facial piercings, coloured hair, and tattoos. I'm no prude but if you have a face full of metal, companies shouldn't HAVE to hire you. How would you feel seeing the captain of your long haul flight had a blue Mohawk and 4 lip piercings?

I'd give her a job working the overnight shift stocking shelves. I expect an employer to have a certain standard when it comes to hiring. I wouldn't want to work for a person who didn't like my personal appearance. The hamster always wants what it can't have. Her cranial accessories gave her an edge to get the job where she's currently employed, but she doesn't mention that. I don't understand why people do weird shit with their body, then expect to be treated as normal.

Its the Canadian Charter of rights and freedoms. An employer CAN discriminate against employees if they can demonstrate that it will impact their business though. Safeway grocery stores was able to do a study that showed that people avoided cashiers with beards, and so they were able to keep that exclusion in their policy.

This chick needs to get read up on her HR case law.

1- She works at some crappy novelty store that is likley in a mall or some suburban wasteland strip-mall. This job probably pays crap and is the exact job for a dumb person with no skills whom didn't finish high school and has no forward frame in thinking that weird studs, tattoos, and hair might put people off; especially in a setting like consumer service.

2- She did some slacktivism change.org petition versus exploring legitimate legal means. 200 signatures from Kansans isn't going to sway your boss to really give any shits.

3- If she would of explored legal means she would of realized she has no case or legit greievence. Emplouers can set uniform and appearance policies and as long as it dosnt cross on something a person has little control over such as religon, gender, race etc they can do whatever they want.

If she dosnt want people to hassle her she should go get real skills and work back office somewhere, go own your own business, or become a professional whom makes good pay and has some sway.

In the second photo, she's standing in front of the water park in the West Edmonton Mall, usually there's seals swimming in the pool there but all I see is a big fat land whale!
