^ this manwomanmyth guy is legit. He knows his stuff and does his research.

Since I am getting into IT, Business Analyst more specifically. I am kinda scared of how to not get screwed over by these laws when I finally go into the work place in 2 years time( assuming I get those grades).

Anyone else here in tech roles here noticing this crap that is going on. And how would one in a tech role dodge this kind of feminist BS and the laws it is bringing fort.

When in a professional setting:
Don't be in the same room alone with a woman.
Don't socialize with them.
Speak as little as possible in order to get the job done.
Remember, you're in enemy territory -- imagine being a dissident, and that a certain amount of spies are always around to rat you out to the Stasi. Watch Das Leben der Anderen to get a feel of how you should act.

Once you gather enough business and tech knowledge, open your own out-sourcing shop, and hire men from Belarus or the Ukraine.

Ha ha ha, I work in tech and have a coworker I call Mr.yuk yuk. Makes off color sexual jokes all the time and talks about his player past quite frequently during lunch times. I feel like he's a sexual harassment lawsuit waiting to happen, but he's been here years and he's been fine. He's like a national treasure to me. The few girls we do have in the company tend to be immigrants, and are quite nice to work with and chat with. I don't have any many east indian coworkers, but otherwise it's the usual ethnic mix in tech.

Look at the manboy company that is kixeye with 'rule the interwebs' job ads. http://allthingsd.com/20120530/kixeyes-g...ickly-ceo/ You don't really have to worry about this kind of feminist bullshit normally.

Thanks for posting this. The British narrator of this has to be reading manosphere blogs.

He's grabbed a few phrases I've made it a point to throw around here and elsewhere, like: Women are complaining on technology invented and built by men. I'm glad this stuff is getting out. This should be transcribed. He also makes a good point about women in the workplace being obsessed with being women. That's probably what's really so annoying about that "Lean In" book: self-obsession.

PS: Here is a Businessweek article that reframes the Adria Richards affair with some serious blue pill bullsh*t. Feel free, everyone, to comment. I did and a White Knight stepped in: http://www.businessweek.com/news/2013-03...rk-firings

Nah. I've been in software for almost 20 years. Female engineers are usually cool whether they're the mannish kind or the kind you'd actually want to hit. Just don't be a social idiot and you're fine.

That can fuck you in the ass because it can make you weirdly timid, which can fuck your career. And because your a timid fuck, the women will respect you less and are more likely to fuck you over. Mr.Donglegate was blind sided, how the fuck would he know that someone ease dropping on him would give him a temporary setback?

Speaking as one who was on the receiving end of this sort of purge, the advice given here is solid. Don't for a moment even think you can idly joke about something sexual if a female employee is in the room.

I worked with a girl in a group of otherwise guys and she was "one of the guys" but ever so often loved throwing out "you do know that, if I wanted to, I could get everyone here fired, hahaha!".

"...it's the quiet cool...it's for someone who's been through the struggle and come out on the other side smelling like money and pussy."

"put her in the taxi, put her number in the trash can"

Well from the info of this thread, here is what I think I should do. be kind of boss and be in bosses good books:
Talk and smile to everyone in a friendly kind , but alpha manner and avoid small talk.
Appear as busy as possible so that no female feels the need to bother me.
Only talk with the guys and avoid talking with females and not show that I am cut when a female makes a misandric or makes a feminist related joke( this stuff rustles my jimmies pretty bad ).

Harsh !! That joke from her is not cool. This is why I'm kinda scared of these laws. My career could come crumbling down in less than seven seconds because on of these chick(s) has a grudge on me or I rejected one of them when they were trying to flit with me.
