Montenegro - Podgorica / Budva

Anyone have any detailed info on Podgorica or Budva? I can't find anything of value on Podgorica and the only thing I can find about Budva is don't go in the off season and the girls are hot but difficult.

Also does anyone know if there will be people in Budva next weekend or if it is still considered low season. I generally prefer cities so am thinking of staying in Podgorica but am open to suggestions.

All I can tell you about Podgorica is that it's a bit of a shit hole, but I have not been out there before.

Can't say for sure about Budva, the weather forecast looks good for the weekend.

If you haven't been to Montenegro before, then Herzeg Novi is pretty nice(not for nightlife though). I had sex with several women in a monastery there and got asked to leave.

To me it seems like Podgorica could be a hidden gem. No Ryanair flights, flights, off the beaten path, low GDP, seemingly hot girls when browsing couchsurfing.

Anyone have input?

I've traveled through Podgorica. It's pretty small. Very shithole-y. Difficult to get to. Not sure what your idea of fun is, but I'd stick to Budva, or the Croatian islands if you're trawling through that part of the world in the summer.

Well if that's the only criteria you are basing your thought on then good luck to you. I have a friend who works in the airline industry, he got moved there, would message me all the time saying how boring Podgorica was in comparison to Belgrade
